9 SEO myths you need to know

There are a lot of black legends about Dich vu SEO (SEO service in Vietnamese) that confuse us when trying to create a professional strategy. So today I decided to tell you about 9 SEO myths that are most common and that you should not believe.

1. Creating an XML Site Map will improve your rankings

A Sitemap does not affect the positioning of the pages of your website. They are as an aid, a guide so that Google can get more information from your website and make sure that all URLs are indexed to be easily crawled.

2. SEO architecture is something secondary

The first thing we must be clear about when positioning a website is its architecture. If this has been done following a logical structure, Google will thank you.

3. Social signs affect your positioning

The social signals (Likes, Comments, Shares …) that your brand receives on its social networks DO NOT positively affect your SEO, although the traffic referred from your networks can give a little boost to your rankings.

4. Google Adwords campaigns will improve SEO

No, Google Adwords campaigns do not improve SEO Positioning although, as in the previous case, the traffic sent from said ads can be perceived with a quality factor for Google and, therefore, help you improve your SEO ( Moderately).

5. The more content you publish, the better positions

This statement is completely false. The number of publications does not matter but their quality. It is better to post a single post optimized for a single search keyword than to post 10 articles without keyword consistency or SEO optimization. SEO optimization is very important, and a good Digital Marketing Agency has the ability to run SEO optimization for much better visibility.

6. Buy links, penalty!

Many quality newspapers and websites offer the possibility of buying articles (with links) for a small amount. Does this mean that they penalize or are of poor quality? No. When we talk about buying links penalizes, we mean doing it in a massive way and without technical supervision, that is, for example, buying said links on poor quality sites, with spam or in link pyramids. However, buying a link from a good quality site and optimizing it correctly (in location, anchor, destination link, etc.) is a recommended action that can give us a very considerable boost in the SERPs.

7. We can focus our strategy only on SEO

Although SEO is one of the best strategies for your website, playing it all to one card is never a good strategy. Take advantage of all the channels that the Internet offers you, reinforce your strategy and multiply the reach of your brand.

8. The security of a website doesn’t affect its SEO

That the URL of your site begins with ‘https’ instead of ‘http’, means that the connection is encrypted, so user data is safe and protected. This is not only something that Google takes into account when evaluating your website, but the users who visit your site can leave it for this reason (increasing your bounce rate).

9. WordPress positions better

WordPress is a great help when we have designed a site without considering SEO, since this CMS makes it easier for us to optimize our site (with numerous plugins of all kinds, updates, etc.). However, a site is not better valued by Google for being developed in WordPress.
