Snap Map, otherwise known as Snapchat Map, is an interactive map that uses mobile technology to out where other users are. It lets you freely browse the snap map to see where your Snapchat friends are and also view stories from other users within the Snapchat app. To view their share snaps and photos, you can click their avatar.
Snap Map also serves as a visual representation of users that upload their content on a particular section of Snapchat – “Our Stories.” Snap Map also pins and records the location where the snaps or stories of each user were taken.
How to Open and Use The Snap Map
Opening the Snap Map is as easy as taking candy from a baby. To open it, tap and start the Snapchat app, it should bring you to camera mode. From there, swipe down the screen, and the app will ask for permission to access your location. After you tap the “Allow” button, you will see your Bitmoji and the area that you are currently at.

Friends
You and your friends can share locations with each other. If they enable their location on Snapchat, you will be able to see their Bitmoji on the map. You can see whose Bitmoji is on the map by tapping on it. You can even start a conversation with your friends by tapping on their name.
Events
Highlighted events are always shown on Snap Map. You can see these highlighted events by tapping them. If you press the compass icon on the map screen, you will be taken to events to see what is happening, what’s it about, and the stories of other users in that event.
