8. Cut Down Your Alcohol Consumption

Although a couple of glasses of wine in the evening can help you fall asleep, the quality of your sleep will be lower. Even if you sleep for a full eight hours, you’ll still feel tired and lethargic the next day.

The NHS recommends that neither men nor women drink more than 14 units of alcohol a week, equivalent to 6 pints of ordinary beer or 10 smaller glasses of standard wine.

9. Hydrate Yourself

When you’re mildly dehydrated, your body doesn’t have access to many nutrients and energy sources. So make sure to drink plenty of water every day.
