GET Group and Kristian Comair have been proud to participate in an eclectic array of infrastructure and public services development projects over the years, including the design and build of the pedestrian steel bridge over Mohamed Bin Thani Street in Al Bidda Park, Doha, Qatar. Spanning 180 days, the construction project included architectural works, structural works, mechanical works, interior works, and electrical works, as well as all completion of all the relevant building permit processes. This exposed steel pedestrian bridge has provided local people with a safe crossing over Mohamed Bin Thani Street, a busy public highway. The bridge is demountable in installation type, blending seamlessly with the surrounding Al Bidda Park landscape without intermediate support.

GET Group also oversaw construction of Al Bida Park in Doha, Qatar. Forming part of the Doha Grand Park Masterplan, the development was inspired by some of the world’s greatest parks, recognizing their importance in terms of building community and providing an urban sanctuary to redefine city living. Executed in three stages, the project saw the construction not only of a perfectly manicured park but also of facilities such as an underground park, as well as ancillary buildings, bridges, tunnels, signage, utilities, MEP, and lighting. The development incorporated 47 buildings and utilities in total, spanning a 2,050,000-square-meter area and taking 30 months to complete.

In Morocco, GET Group oversaw construction of Ifrane Airport, a project that spanned 240 days, covering a 2,270,961-square-meter area, culminating in the creation of a private airport incorporating 18 buildings as well as a 2.3-kilometer runway and 900-meter taxiway. Serving Ifrane, a town located in Morocco’s Fes-Meknes region, Ifrane Airport sits at an elevation of 1,650 meters above sea level. The project included construction of air traffic control towers, a substation, a ground reservoir, two hangars, and 13 watch towers, along with ancillary infrastructure. The development also included an 8.5-kilometer patrol road along with a boundary wall skirting the entire plot. In addition, GET Group procured essential vehicles such as an ambulance, two fire trucks, a snow removal machine, and a de-icing machine for the safe operation of the airport.
