Scott Hughes, creator of OnlineBookClub, announces new upcoming ereading app to compete with Kindle

A new e-reader app designed to compete with Amazon’s Kindle is about to enter the market soon.

Scott Hughes, founder of the popular online book club OnlineBookClub.org has recently posted a teaser sneak peek video on social media. Although there’s no official name yet, the video shows a log in section where OnlineBookClub members can sign in and access their ebooks under one app.

What is the OBC e-Reader App?

Billed as the ‘Kindle killer’, the ebook reading app is currently in progress but it’s shaping up to be a worthwhile look. Online Book Club members will have a lot to like as it’s an e-reader app with features that are tailored for them.

Hughes made mention that one of the long term goals of the ebook reader is that it will compete and hopefully overtake Jeff Bezos’ Kindle empire. The recent post on social media is accompanied by an invitation to join the book lovers’ website and sign up for free.
