Streaming Previews Launched for Microsoft Xbox Console, Users can Stream any Game to Android Phone

Microsoft has already begun the public previews of its Project xCloud game streaming service which was earlier this month. Everyone is eagerly waiting for the rival of Google Stadia but Microsoft has now provided its Xbox One testers a new feature which is known as Console streaming. With the help of this new feature, the users can play the Xbox One game on their smartphone by using their Xbox One console. It is a preview features only available for Android users. With the help of console streaming the gamers can enjoy the existing gaming devices.

The streaming work with all the Xbox One and Xbox 360 game titles. The Project xCloud only preview only works with 4 games. By using the help of this feature you can stream any game on your Xbox to your android device. The preview feature is currently available to the Xbox insider members in the Alpha Skip Ahead Rings and Alpha which is based in the UK and US. According to the claims from Microsoft, they will expand their previews program to various other regions.

To use the feature you need to have an Android 6.0 or higher version of the smartphone along with an Xbox One controller. You need to also have an internet connection in your house that has at least 10Mbps download and 4.7Mbps upload speed. The latency of the network should be less than 70ms. You can download the app for the streaming of the Xbox Game from the Google Play Store.

This new feature from Microsoft will help the user to play their games on the go. The only drawback will be the limit in the functionality with the dependence on existing hardware that is quite similar to the PlayStation 4 Remote Play.
