Ultimate guide to treat acne

Uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, and acne are the most common skin issues right now which every other woman deals with. In this age of glass skin where beauty standards have reached an all-time high, women are growing more and more anxious towards making their skin flawless. Just a small pimple before a big event gives them an ultimate scare. Nobody is perfect and nor does their skin! Some people tend to have acne due to PCOS, some get acne due to stress or any type of skin allergy. Before diving into the causes of acne being faced by most women, let’s first identify the types of acne.

1) Whiteheads

These are mostly caused by under-exfoliating. When you don’t scrub off the oily surface of your skin then the oil is piled up on your skin thus blocking the pores and in turn, you get whiteheads.

2) Cysts

You get cysts due to hormonal imbalance. Most women get cysts right before the start of their menstrual cycle. Irregular periods, bloating and hormonal imbalance bring cysts on your skin which is why it is highly recommended that you increase water intake in order to keep your skin hydrated.

3) Nodules

These are the stubborn red bumps on your skin that are painful and hard to squeeze. These pimples can only be treated through prescription assistance by a good dermatologist. Some medicated creams or ointments can dry out these pimples to avoid pain. Try not to squeeze or pick them because they will get worse.
