Each and everyone generates billions of pounds due to the huge crowds that they attract and for good reason as each is full of thrills and excitement that never disappoint. When it comes to horse racing and sports in general one of the most famous events is the Grand National, being held over 180 years, the annual event is beloved and watched across the globe by an average of 600 million people, over 70,000 of those flooding to Aintree to witness the action and fold in person. Each April 3 days of races get underway with people excited to watch the races, get dressed up, have an excuse to place a bet or two and even in the hopes of seeing a celebrity or even a member of the royal family who have been known to love the races.

The Grand National has been wildly popular ever since its inauguration back in 1839 but nowadays it offers even more excitement to spectators and even those watching from home as the race track has been adapted now making it in for us for being one of the most difficult to finish. Stretching 4 1/2 miles with 30 fences to clear across the two laps, finishing the race, let alone winning it, is a great achievement.
